Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AI Integration Engineer to embed AI capabilities into existing software by wiring models, endpoints, and orchestration into production apps. You’ll implement integration patterns, assess performance, and help scale AI across distributed systems.

Requirements include 3+ years in Python, API integration, LLM production experience, and strong knowledge of containerization, CI/CD, and OAuth/JWT. Some travel and TS/SCI with polygraph are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production software systems in Python.
• Experience integrating external services or APIs into distributed systems.
• Experience implementing inference request flows, including handling latency, token limits, and batching strategies.
• Experience writing integration tests for multi-service environments.
• Experience integrating large language models into production services, including managing inference requests, model responses, and error-handling flows.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into existing software systems by connecting models, inference endpoints, and orchestration components to production applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI functionality.
• Contribute to evaluation and monitoring approaches, and refine integration workflows.
