Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in the United States to help teach frontier AI models to reason about real circuits and hardware. You design realistic problems, run them through models, and judge the outputs against high professional standards.

You will compare model versions, critique derivations and datasheets, and flag failures with solid evidence. Strong background in analog/digital electronics and system-level thinking is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to defend component- and system-level decisions.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with AI tools or quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging engineering problems from your practice.
• Run those problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs against professional standards.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and determine which performed better.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and datasheet values with rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and corrective notes.
