Job summary

Dscout is hiring a Mobile Principal Software Engineer to lead our mobile team and evolve it toward a full AI-native platform. You’ll work hands-on with AI coding agents and help shape both mobile and web experiences.

You’ll partner with Product and Design, mentor engineers, and drive architecture decisions that scale across product and tech. This role emphasizes impact and rapid iteration in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Significant mobile software engineering experience with senior scope.
• Experience with iOS and Android and cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on AI coding agents and SDLC design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile team to mature and evolve in an AI-native space.
• Stand up an AI-native dev process for agents, evals, and review loops.
• Drive thin-client architecture for participant experience and backend logic.
• Contribute Python to AI backend services as mobile needs arise.
• Set direction for participant API and platform beyond mobile.
• Spend ~70% time supporting product teams; 30% on leadership work.
• Drive continuous process improvements across mobile and partners.
• Mentor engineers and grow the engineering org.
• Apply DevOps mindset to improve CD pipeline and ops.
