Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Mobile Principal Software Engineer in the United States to lead a mobile engineering team toward an AI-first product platform. You will guide architecture for iOS, Android and web, partnering with product/design, and shaping the developer experience with rapid, scalable delivery.

You will mentor engineers, refine delivery processes, and help evolve the broader participant platform while embracing a remote-first, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive mobile development experience on iOS/Android with leadership scope.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents to deliver production work.
• Strong systems architecture across backend APIs and databases.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers and driving architectural improvements.
• Experience with cloud-based SaaS and CI/CD, observability and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile engineering team and define technical direction.
• Establish an AI-native lifecycle for mobile development and integration with backend services.
• Drive a thin-client architecture moving business logic to backend systems.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape platform strategy.
• Mentor engineers and improve delivery processes across teams.
• Ensure SOC 2 / HITRUST-aligned security and compliance practices.
