Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses, validate three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the accounting behind them.

You will trace the model's reasoning, expose plugged numbers and unsupported conclusions, and write defensible analyses suitable for CFO audiences, with a flexible, remote, project-based engagement. Experience in corporate finance and FP&A is valued, and you can contribute from anywhere in the US on a per-task basis.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
