Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses against real corporate scenarios. You will check valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write judgments that teach models defensible finance work.

Responsibilities include stress-testing models, tracing reasoning, and delivering defensible analysis with clear drivers and CFO-ready numbers. This is a flexible, remote role with project-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English skills for explanations.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
