DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses against real corporate scenarios, verify assumptions, and explain the accounting logic. You’ll highlight where models misstate cash flow or balance sheet relationships and produce judgments that guide model behavior.

This remote, project-based role rewards precision in three-statement modeling, DCF, and clear written explanations that CFOs trust.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
