Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented contributors to evaluate AI-generated media from anywhere in the world on a flexible schedule. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos, and explain in writing what appears off, all remotely and at up to $15/hour.

Paid weekly for freelance, 1099 work, with access to leading AI tools and ongoing opportunities. This role values clear English communication and careful, structured feedback.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each output sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
