Job summary

Outlier is hiring remote reviewers to rate and explain AI-generated media. You will conduct live English conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video outputs, and describe exactly what looked off or misaligned.

Your analyses help improve AI systems and enable precise feedback loops, all on your own schedule from home. Ideal candidates are fluent in English with strong writing, keen attention to detail, and the ability to provide concise, evidence-based explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Ability to think on your feet and articulate realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt more closely.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a detailed explanation in English.
