Job summary

Healthesystems is seeking a part-time, temporary AI internship to assist in developing, deploying, and evaluating AI models and systems. The role merges data science, ML, and software engineering to build AI applications including NLP and genAI solutions.

Under mentorship, you will participate in model development, data processing, algorithm selection, system integration, and deployment while ensuring ethical considerations and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Gen AI/ML models and developing APIs/SDKs is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with AI/ML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets for training AI models.
• Select appropriate machine learning algorithms based on the problem.
• Integrate AI models into existing systems or deploy new AI solutions.
• Continuously optimize AI models for accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay up to date with developments in AI/ML and apply to projects.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build solutions.
• Create detailed documentation for AI models, processes, and systems.
• Deploy AI models into production and monitor performance over time.
• Consider ethical implications and fairness in AI development.
