Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote AI Engineer to join a global team on special and experimental projects. You will develop and test advanced AI models, collaborate with researchers and engineers remotely, and contribute across the entire AI lifecycle from conception to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, strong Python and ML library experience, and familiarity with cloud/MLOps. This remote role offers flexible hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on development and prototyping.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Proven experience in building and deploying complex AI models.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and MLOps best practices is a plus.
• Excellent independent work ethic, communication, and collaboration skills in a remote context.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test advanced AI and machine learning models for novel applications.
• Design and build robust AI systems and prototypes, often working with incomplete specifications.
• Collaborate closely with researchers and other engineers in a remote setting to ideate and execute projects.
• Contribute to all phases of the AI development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies for potential integration.
• Document research findings, code, and system designs effectively.
