Job summary

micro1 seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate with world-leading AI labs and enterprises. You will bridge research and production, shaping data workflows, ML pipelines, and agent-based systems in a remote-first setting.

You will own end-to-end systems from discovery to deployment, work with researchers and partners, and travel as needed to deliver impact across frontier AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Able to operate independently in ambiguous, partner-facing settings.
• Strong Python engineer with end-to-end production experience.
• Experience with LLMs, agentic systems, multi-turn workflows, and AI automation.
• Built or maintained data pipelines, ML infrastructure, or research workflows.
• Knowledge of data quality, taxonomy design, labeling workflows, and curation.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with leading AI labs and enterprise partners to define goals and requirements.
• Build large-scale data intelligence systems for collecting, organizing, and evaluating data.
• Implement ML pipelines for data curation, model training, evaluation and experimentation.
• Design data taxonomies, labeling systems, and quality frameworks for datasets.
• Develop LLM applications, multi-agent systems, RAG workflows, and human-in-the-loop systems.
• Own systems across discovery, architecture, deployment, and partner success.
