Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an AI Engineer to design, test, and deploy AI-powered healthcare solutions within the PACE program. You will translate AI capabilities into production-ready apps, collaborate with stakeholders, and support team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on AI/ML engineering or related software engineering experience with AI focus.
• Experience designing and deploying RAG pipelines with vector Databases and retrieval optimization.
• Experience building on commercial LLM APIs with prompt engineering and structured outputs.
• Advanced Python proficiency for AI apps, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services and Docker in secure cloud environments.
• Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or equivalent.
• Understanding of agentic architectures with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or Copilot Studio.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and rapid POCs.
• Familiarity with HIPAA/PHI healthcare compliance preferred.
• PACE program knowledge preferred.
• Experience benchmarking LLM providers for accuracy, cost, latency, and safety.
• Secondary AWS AI/ML experience is a plus.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using enterprise LLMs for PACE requirements.
• Architect and implement RAG systems grounded in proprietary data with accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
• Own development lifecycle from ideation to production deployment.
• Research and build agentic AI workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or Copilot Studio.
• Architect and deploy AI services in Azure-based private clouds with secure configurations.
• Evaluate models based on performance, cost, latency, and compliance.
• Implement AIOps and MLOps including monitoring, versioning, automated tests, and CI/CD.
• Continue to evaluate emerging AI tools and models and recommend improvements.
• Communicate with supervisor/team on workload and priorities; document thoroughly.
• Support training, quality improvement, and meetings; adapt to evolving business needs.
