Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking an AI Engineer for a 12-month remote assignment in California. You will design, build and run agents that automate work across digital commerce and transformation programs, with production-ready focus.

You will work with Microsoft AI services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel) and collaborate with program managers, data engineers and security partners to deliver governed agents from prompts to deployment, monitoring and iteration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical field.
• 4+ years of software engineering with 1+ year in production LLM/agent apps.
• Strong Python skills; C# or TypeScript a plus; fluent with REST/GraphQL and JSON schemas.
• Hands-on with Microsoft AI services (Azure Foundry/OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel).
• Experience with retrieval augmented generation, embeddings, vector search and evaluation.
• Knowledge of model context protocols and tool/calling patterns with schema design.
• Proven prompt and context engineering with clear behavior descriptions.
• Experience evaluating LLMs, with regression suites and human review loops.
• Familiarity with Azure AD Entra, OAuth2/JWT, RBAC and API gateway patterns.
• CI/CD, containers, IaC and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry).
• Clear written communication; ability to explain agent behavior and limits.
