The role emphasizes practical AI integration expertise, scalable software development, and close collaboration with marketing and product teams to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AI development, software engineering, or automation programming.
• Strong knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI models through APIs, including OpenAI or Claude.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and automated workflows.
• Practical experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, digital marketing, or marketing technology.
• Familiarity with at least one major e-commerce platform, such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, or eBay.
• Understanding of e-commerce SEO, keyword research, product listings, and competitor analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows and internal tools that support marketplace and marketing operations.
• Develop automated monitoring and reporting for listings, competitors, pricing, advertising, and performance metrics.
• Integrate platforms and data sources through APIs (e.g., Amazon SP-API, Amazon Ads API, Google Sheets, BI tools).
• Use LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT/OpenAI) to analyze data, summarize findings, and recommend priorities.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, and define where human review remains essential.
• Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce team members to understand their needs and turn them into practical solutions.
• Document workflows and train teammates to use the tools you build.
