Job summary

Abacus Insights is seeking a Sales Director to drive new health plan logos and close complex enterprise deals. You will write the playbook, craft solution packages, and represent Abacus to CIOs, architects, and executives.

You'll own the full cycle from prospecting to close, partner with Product and Engineering to shape offerings, and help scale a high-growth, AI-enabled SaaS business in healthcare payer markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience selling software products, platforms, or technical solutions in data management, analytics, or related enablement space.
• 5+ years selling into the healthcare payer market with 6–12 month enterprise sales cycles.
• Experience selling SaaS products and shaping AI-enabled solutions for payers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close—for new health plan logos.
• Build and manage a forecasted pipeline that delivers against quota across multi-threaded payer deals.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape solutions that map to client needs and accelerate value delivery.
