Weekday AI is seeking a Strategic Finance AI Expert to bridge analytics with strategic financial decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and AI, enabling leadership teams to make faster, data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in AI/ML, model building, and FP&A processes to influence growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, or FP&A, with exposure to AI/analytics.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and scenario analysis.
• Hands-on experience with data tools such as Python, SQL, or advanced Excel; familiarity with AI/ML frameworks is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially in executive-facing contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead business case development with AI-driven forecasting and cross-functional validation.
• Develop unit economics frameworks across products/geographies to improve profitability.
• Prepare materials for executives and the board—dashboards, reports, and presentations.
• Embed AI in FP&A processes to enhance forecasting and automate reporting.
• Monitor KPIs and advise leaders on actions to improve performance.
