Job summary

Cloud Destinations LLC is seeking an Application Developer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting enterprise-scale Python-based applications, backed by relational databases. You will leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery, automate workflows, and ensure robust, scalable solutions.

The role requires deep Python and SQL expertise, experience building RESTful APIs, and strong problem-solving skills in a fully remote, async-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python as a primary language.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.
• Familiarity with ORM (SQLAlchemy) and migrations.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerization with Docker and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications and microservices.
• Write clean, documented, testable code following SOLID and standards.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and design data models.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute feedback.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical implementations.
• Contribute to architecture discussions on AI-assisted development.
