Consertus is seeking an Application Developer to architect, build, and optimize high‑performance Python apps across Google Cloud Platform. You will leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery, generate test suites, and perform security validations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, SE, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Python3.10+ and FastAPI.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and API development.
• Experience deploying containerized apps in GCP environments (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions).
• Hands‑on with Terraform and IaC.
• Experience automated testing with pytest or unittest.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, test, deploy, and maintain Python applications on GCP.
• Develop scalable microservices and event‑driven solutions using Cloud Pub/Sub and Cloud Tasks.
• Create RESTful APIs with FastAPI and gRPC with strong authentication and versioning.
• Write clean, modular Python code following PEP 8 and typing practices.
• Contribute to design reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions.
