Launchpad Innovations is seeking a creative Video Editor who excels at short-form ads and AI-assisted production to join our remote, global team. You will transform briefs into high-impact videos for social platforms using CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and AI tools, crafting hooks, pacing, captions, and CTAs while testing variations.

This role emphasizes speed, independent work, and a data-driven approach to improve campaign performance and portfolio quality.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in video editing and short-form content creation.
Strong experience creating social media and performance marketing videos.
Hands-on experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or similar.
Experience creating AI-generated/talking-head videos and UGC-style content.
Familiarity with AI creative tools for video generation, voiceovers, avatars, image generation, and creative enhancement.
Great understanding of social media trends and what makes content engaging.
Storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual communication are strong.
Able to turn basic scripts into compelling finished creatives.
Comfortable experimenting with new AI tools to optimize output.
Understanding of hooks, CTR, engagement, conversions, and testing is a plus.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and produce creatives quickly.

Responsibilities

Create short-form video ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
Create AI talking-head/avatar videos and UGC-style video creatives.
Turn scripts and concepts into engaging, high-quality video ads.
Develop strong hooks, pacing, transitions, captions, visuals, and CTAs.
Use AI tools to generate, enhance, and optimize video content.
Create multiple variations of videos to test different hooks, messaging, and angles.
Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align with objectives.
Repurpose existing content into multiple formats.
Stay updated with emerging AI video tools and trends.
Analyze creative performance and use insights for future videos.
Experiment with new AI workflows to improve quality and speed.
