Job summary

Greenshades Software is seeking a Development Lead to own delivery for the Payroll product line. You will guide a team of engineers, contribute hands-on to complex Payroll/Tax features, and mentor others while partnering with Product Management to translate priorities into shipped software.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development as a core practice. You will work remotely, collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure high-quality, reliable payroll solutions and smooth knowledge

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack solutions with C#, Angular, SQL.
• 2+ years mentoring and leading engineering teams.
• 2+ years in HCM software or a related domain.
• Hands-on with Git and Azure-based development workflows.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Designing Web API / REST interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery for the Payroll development team, ensuring on-time shipped work.
• Contribute as a senior developer on Payroll and Tax features, setting engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers, provide code review and career guidance.
• Collaborate with Payroll Product Manager to translate roadmap into work.
• Adopt and champion AI-assisted development tools across the team.
• Evaluate new AI-augmented practices and tooling for ongoing evolution.
• Coordinate with Sustainability to transfer knowledge and resolve production issues.
• Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
