Job summary

Dykema Gossett, PLLC is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Analyst for a fully remote, early‑career role within the Knowledge & Innovation team. You will focus on transactional M&A/corporate and real estate workflows, applying AI and technology to improve how legal work gets done.

Ideal candidates bring a law degree or substantial transactional experience, plus curiosity about legal tech. Remote role across all offices.

Qualifications

JD from ABA-accredited law school preferred; non-JD with substantial transactional experience considered.
1–2 years of legal experience in M&A, corporate transactions, real estate, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of deal structure, due diligence, closing mechanics and related docs.
Genuine interest in legal tech and AI; willing to shape how the firm uses it.
Clear, credible communication of complex tech concepts to attorneys; polished deliverables.

Responsibilities

Contribute to AI-first technology strategy, evaluate tools, and recommend deployments.
Design and deliver practice-wide training on new tech, focusing on workflows.
Support tool rollouts with troubleshooting and stakeholder liaison.
Capture feedback and translate it into vendor/input for implementation.
Assist in technology implementations from evaluation to rollout; track milestones.
