Job summary

San Francisco Cloud is building the intelligence layer of the cloud with a strong emphasis on AI-driven SaaS platforms. This full-time, remote role seeks an engineer who thrives at the intersection of backend engineering and artificial intelligence.

You will write resilient code in Go, Rust, and Node.js, orchestrate multi-agent workflows, and own deployments across AWS and Azure, ensuring scalable, robust platforms in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Deep architectural intuition and strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
• Experience shipping production code in Go, Rust, and Node.js.
• Proficiency with AWS and Microsoft Azure for designing and scaling API-driven SaaS.
• Hands-on experience building intelligent agentic workflows, especially with Azure AI Foundry.
• Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship resilient backend systems with modern AI-driven features.
• Drive architecture forward, reducing legacy dependencies and improving scalability.
