Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and operating reliable production systems.
• Experience with distributed systems for complex workflows including orchestration and retries.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts, tool use, memory retrieval, and model orchestration.
• Strong focus on production quality: observability, reliability, security, and incident response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.
• Experience with full-stack or frontend collaboration on product features.
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs or graph-based data modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build core backend systems for the agent platform, including orchestration and memory.
• Design scalable services and APIs to retrieve context and execute multi-step workflows.
• Develop agent memory layers for context, retrieval, summarization, and long-term memory.
• Create infrastructure to monitor, debug, and improve agent behavior with traces and metrics.
• Translate product needs into robust backend architectures and clear data models.
• Help define technical direction and long-term architecture for agentic AI.
• Mentor teammates and promote engineering best practices for reliable AI systems.
• Contribute to team growth through hiring and process improvements.
