Job summary

Elios, Inc. is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to take AI prototypes to production-ready solutions for enterprise clients. You will scope problems with clients, write code, and integrate systems, staying with engagements from discovery through deployment.

In this role you’ll build Python-based LLM applications and retrieval systems, optimize for latency and cost, and explain trade-offs to both technical and business audiences. This is a remote US contract role at an enterprise pace.

Qualifications

• 4+ years writing production software, Python focus.
• Shipped at least one LLM-powered system to real users.
• Cloud deployment, APIs, and auth/logging/CI/CD experience.
• Ability to evaluate LLM output beyond eyeballing.

Responsibilities

• Scope client goals into scoped, buildable work during discovery.
• Build Python-based LLM apps, agents, and retrieval systems.
• Connect models to client systems: APIs, data warehouses, MCP servers.
