Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Release Train Engineer for 100% remote engagement with East Coast hours. You will own how work flows through one program, protect team capacity, clear blockers, and translate business priorities into small deliverables while partnering with Product and Technical Leads.

Strong coaching and SAFe/Kanban experience are preferred. Responsibilities include facilitating planning, syncs, demos, and retrospectives; coaching leaders to increase autonomy; and embedding AI

Qualifications

• Proven Release Train Engineer or equivalent senior multi-team Agile leadership with measurable improvements.
• Expertise in Kanban, Scrumban, and Lean flow including WIP limits, cycle time, aging work, and dependency management.
• Strong coaching and facilitation to challenge commitments and guide senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Run the system of work by establishing and improving the program Kanban, WIP limits, and ready/done criteria.
• Translate intent into executable work by partnering with product and business leaders to break outcomes into epics.
• Surface and resolve risks, dependencies, and blockers across data access, integrations, and queues.
• Embed AI readiness into delivery by planning evaluation, human review, monitoring, and support.
• Facilitate decisions through planning, syncs, demos, and retrospectives with evidence-based trade-offs.
• Grow team autonomy by coaching leaders and teams to reduce reliance on central coordination.
