Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity seeks an AI Data Solutions Engineer to build scalable data pipelines for AI features, own MCP integration, and drive RAG architecture within LMC. You will collaborate across teams to translate AI capabilities into shipped product features and stay at the forefront of the AI/ML landscape.

The role emphasizes cloud‑based data infrastructure, context engineering, and mentoring engineers, with remote work options and international collaboration

Qualifications

• Design and build scalable, reliable data pipelines for AI‑driven features.
• Hands‑on with MCP server design and LLM integration in SaaS.
• Design and operate Retrieval‑Augmented Generation workflows.
• Develop RESTful APIs to OpenAPI 3.0 standard.
• Knowledge of vector stores for semantic search and RAG pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Kafka or similar brokers.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and AI tasks.
• Experience with WAN/LAN networking is a plus.
• Fluency required in English and German (CEFR B1/B2).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines transforming telemetry into AI‑ready datasets.
• Own MCP server design and integration with LLMs as reliable data source.
• Architect and operate RAG workflows and vector store management.
• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI 3.0).
• Collaborate with Architecture, UX, QA and Product to ship features.
• Evaluate new AI technologies for LMC roadmap.
