Job summary

RevStar is seeking an experienced Data & AI Engineer to design and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions on AWS for a remote role based in Virginia.

You will build LLM-based APIs on Amazon Bedrock, implement RAG pipelines with OpenSearch and S3, and develop data pipelines using Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation while enabling real-time reporting with QuickSight. Collaboration with product teams and DevOps is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI/DS or related field.
• 5+ years designing, building, deploying cloud-based ML or GenAI systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, OpenSearch, QuickSight.
• Strong Python for data manipulation, API development, and automation.
• Experience with RAG, prompt orchestration, or LLMOps workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, and Git-based workflows.
• Excellent communication for client-facing professional services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy LLM-based APIs using Amazon Bedrock.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with OpenSearch + S3.
• Build data pipelines with AWS Glue, Athena, Lake Formation.
• Support real-time reporting and AI dashboards via QuickSight.
• Design serverless workflows with AWS Lambda and manage prompt metadata in DynamoDB.
• Implement prompt orchestration strategies including fallback handling, versioning, and safety guardrails.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps to align AI/ML delivery with goals.
• Document solutions clearly and support onboarding for client handoff.
• Keep up with AWS GenAI, MLOps, and scalable data platforms.
