The role emphasizes production-grade Python apps, Lambda functions, and data platforms using Glue, DMS, Kafka, Airflow, and Snowflake. Remote-friendly with a strong focus on quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python development experience delivering production-quality code.
• Proven data engineering experience building, deploying, and supporting scalable data pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services and cloud-native data engineering architectures.
• Experience with AWS Glue, AWS DMS, Kafka, Airflow, or Snowflake.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Kiro to accelerate software engineering.
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Experience reviewing, testing, debugging, and optimizing AI-generated code before production deployment.
• Hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda functions using Python and integrating with AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and processing solutions.
• Build production-grade Python applications and AWS Lambda functions that integrate with enterprise platforms and APIs.
• Develop and enhance data platforms using AWS Glue, DMS, Kafka, Airflow, and Snowflake.
• Translate business requirements into engineering designs and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Review, test, and optimize AI-generated code following engineering best practices.
