The role emphasizes hands-on Python development, production-quality code, and data platforms using AWS Glue, DMS, Kafka, Airflow, and Snowflake.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on Python development delivering production-quality code.
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting scalable data pipelines.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services and cloud-native data architectures.
- Experience with AWS Glue, AWS DMS, Kafka, Airflow, or Snowflake.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate software engineering while maintaining rigor.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and acceptance criteria.
- Experience reviewing, testing, and optimizing AI-generated code before production.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and processing solutions.
- Build production-grade Python applications and AWS Lambda functions.
- Develop data platforms using AWS Glue, AWS DMS, Kafka, Airflow, and Snowflake.
- Translate requirements into engineering designs and measurable criteria.
- Review and optimize AI-generated code throughout the SDLC.
