The role emphasizes production-grade Python development, scalable data pipelines, and leveraging AWS Glue, DMS, Kafka, Airflow, and Snowflake. A remote-friendly role and strong delivery focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python development experience with production-quality code.
• Proven data engineering experience building, deploying, and supporting scalable data pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services and cloud-native data engineering architectures.
• Experience with AWS Glue, AWS DMS, Kafka, Airflow, or Snowflake.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software engineering.
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specs and acceptance criteria.
• Experience reviewing, testing, debugging, and optimizing AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines, integrations, and processing solutions using cloud-native technologies.
• Build production-grade Python applications and AWS Lambda functions.
• Develop data platforms leveraging AWS Glue, AWS DMS, Kafka, Airflow, and Snowflake.
• Translate business and technical requirements into designs and acceptance criteria.
• Review and optimize AI-generated code throughout the SDLC.
