Job summary

Astreya is seeking an AI Infrastructure Datacenter Design Engineer II for a remote-first role with California presence. You will independently handle data hall designs, support operational improvements, and drive design optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities include creating layouts, rack elevations, and power/space planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and 2–4 years in relevant environments are required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of data center or telecom infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and infrastructure documentation.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain medium-complexity data hall layouts and infrastructure designs.
• Perform rack elevations, cable routing, power and space planning.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation and deployment.
• Troubleshoot design conflicts and support issue resolution.
