Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

This freelance role offers up to $15 per hour with flexible hours, weekly pay, and free access to leading LLMs. You will help shape AI systems by identifying issues like distorted motion and caption errors, contributing to real-world improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication and natural conversational ability.
• Strong attention to detail; patient, able to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy or audio-visual misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
• Image evaluations: compare two AI-generated images for the same prompt and assess fidelity and artifacts.
• Video evaluations: rank AI-generated videos against a text prompt or edited clips.
