The role requires a J.D. with 10+ years of experience, including AI/cybersecurity law, and will involve negotiations, policy development, and interaction with regulators.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity, technology, and/or AI/emerging technology law.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel on AI design, deployment, and governance across functions.
• Advise on AI governance frameworks, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead AI contract negotiations and advise on data rights and third-party AI platforms.
• Support cybersecurity incident response and regulatory disclosure requirements (HIPAA, SEC, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance innovation with regulatory risk.
