Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Responsibilities include comparing AI-generated images and videos to prompts, inspecting outputs for flaws like artifacts and mismatches, and rating results with a clear written justification. This is a freelance, remote role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail; patient to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and explain realistically in discussions.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then rank how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatch.
• Rate each output on adherence, quality, and realism and write a clear English explanation of what you saw or heard.
