Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from anywhere, on your own schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare images and videos, and explain what looked off in writing, remotely and flexibly.

Contributors help shape AI systems by evaluating outputs and providing targeted feedback. This is a freelance, 1099 contract opportunity with international eligibility and weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations in natural conversation.
• Experience writing short, evidence‑based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn’t match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a clear English explanation.
