Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what looked or sounded off in writing.

This 1099 contract role is remote with no minimum hours and pays up to $15 per hour, with additional incentives. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, with strong written communication and keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to replay/zoom to spot issues.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Clear decision-making when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing concise English explanations of observations.
