Job summary

MinutePay Inc. is seeking experienced software engineers to create AI coding tasks from codebases they know well. Each task pays US$1,000 and you may complete as many as you wish. Tasks focus on challenging AI coding model capabilities and serve to measure and train models.

This is remote work, with no location restriction. You should commit to a minimum of one task per week (about 10 hours). You’ll propose tasks, build solutions, and rigorously test against grading checks, with multiple rounds

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java or C++.
• Strong in Docker, Linux, Git and automated testing.
• Regular use of an AI coding tool.
• Experience writing tests, rubrics or evaluation criteria for AI models.
• Ability to clearly explain a change in your own words.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Propose changes from a repository you know and submit a short proposal.
• Build the task: set up the repo state, write the solution and grading checks.
• Stress-test by evaluating lazy, incorrect and shortcut solutions.
• Run your task against AI models and ensure robust evaluation.
• Undergo review and revise as needed; start additional tasks after acceptance.
