Outlier is offering a remote QA Coder opportunity designed for software engineers to help train AI models by reviewing AI-generated code and scoring model responses. You will also craft clear CS prompts to challenge the models.

This 1099 contract role pays up to $34 USD/hr with additional incentives. Applicants from eligible LATAM countries are welcome, and you can work from anywhere with flexible hours while contributing to real AI development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read through code produced by AI models and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses: score responses across key dimensions to improve model output.
• Write computer science questions: develop clear, well-structured prompts to challenge AI models.
