Job summary

Ritual is seeking a Validator Engineer to own uptime, performance, and reliability of the network’s validators. You will manage upgrades, snapshots, and sync performance, serving as the primary technical contact for validator operators and owning deployment tooling and documentation.

Responsibilities include building deployments for validators, orchestrating upgrades with zero downtime, profiling critical paths, and maintaining run-books while supporting operators on Discord to sustain healthy

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating high-availability distributed systems.
• Direct experience running PoS validators on EVM-based chains is preferred.
• Proficient in Go and Rust, with ability to read and extend both EL and CL client code.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate bare-metal & cloud deployments for validators.
• Orchestrate client upgrades, parameter changes, and hard-forks with zero downtime.
• Profile and patch critical paths for validator performance.
• Produce run-books, maintain documentation, and support validator operators via Discord.
