Job summary

Avanai is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize AI-powered workflows. You will work with founders and clients to convert business processes into scalable automation using n8n, LLM APIs, and other platforms.

The role requires solving complex integration challenges across APIs, databases, and enterprise apps. You will implement autonomous AI agents with memory, ensure security and compliance, and contribute to a growing automation library.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
• Experience with AI automation platforms like n8n, Camunda.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks).
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for custom nodes and scripts.
• Understanding of process mapping, orchestration, and optimization.
• Experience in agile, fast-moving teams delivering usable features.
• Knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, embeddings, and vector search.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments (security, data governance).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered workflows by integrating APIs, databases, and apps.
• Build, deploy, and optimize AI agents with autonomy, planning, and memory.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business needs into automation solutions.
• Integrate LLMs and vector databases to create intelligent workflows.
• Ensure enterprise-grade security, scalability, and compliance.
• Work with designers, product leads, and founders to prototype and ship quickly.
• Contribute to internal automation libraries and best practices.
