Job summary

Evotym is seeking an experienced AI/ML architect to define the AI architecture and technology roadmap for its fintech-oriented platform. You will design and deploy production-grade AI and LLM-powered systems, including agents, RAG, and workflow orchestration, across cloud infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture or technical leadership.
• Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade AI or LLM-powered systems.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings and vector search.
• Experience with AI agents, tool calling and workflow orchestration.
• Strong backend architecture skills, including distributed systems, microservices and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes and modern infrastructure.
• Understanding of AI evaluation, monitoring, security, privacy and data governance.
• Ability to balance solution quality, scalability, latency and cost.
• Fintech or payments experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian is required.
• Ability to work remotely with reasonable overlap with Central European Time (CET).
• Ownership and accountability for architectural decisions and delivery.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product and business stakeholders.
• Clear communication of technical concepts and trade-offs to different audiences.
• Adaptability as AI technologies develop, with a focus on practical business value.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI architecture and technology roadmap in line with business objectives.
• Design and implement scalable AI and LLM-powered solutions, including agents and automated workflows.
• Develop RAG architectures, semantic search and enterprise knowledge systems.
• Evaluate AI models, platforms and infrastructure for performance, security and cost.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing APIs, backend systems and microservices.
• Establish standards for AI evaluation, monitoring, observability and security.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Security teams to deliver measurable business impact.
• Guide AI initiatives from proof of concept to production and promote engineering best practices.
