Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Senior AI Architect to serve as the leading technical authority for AI/ML within the finance IT organization. You will translate business visions into AI/ML strategies, design end-to-end architectures, and guide engineering teams through implementation.

You will shape multi-year roadmaps, develop reusable foundational frameworks, and lead advances in generative AI, automation, and agentic systems across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience across Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Designing and deploying GenAI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Experience with large-scale financial data processing and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define the organization’s AI/ML technical strategy aligned with transformation goals.
• Convert operational and financial objectives into tangible AI/ML projects.
• Promote an enterprise-wide AI-first architecture with GenAI, ML, and automation.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps and reusable AI/ML platforms.
• Architect AI/ML frameworks for fraud detection, forecasting, and analytics.
• Design semantic layers with RAG, Knowledge Graphs, and GraphRAG for NL querying.
• Define reference architectures for agent-based AI workflows and tooling integrations.
• Establish standards for AI/ML delivery, security, and governance.
• Deliver detailed designs with data flows, integrations, and security controls.
• Mentor engineering teams on technical design and code reviews.
• Ensure compliance with governance and data privacy standards.
• Champion model lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
• Represent AI/ML architecture in design reviews and ensure consistency.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Architect to serve as the leading technical authority for AI and machine learning within our client's finance IT organization. This role involves translating business transformation visions into comprehensive AI/ML strategies, designing end-to-end architecture, and guiding engineering teams through implementation. The position offers an opportunity to shape multi-year AI/ML roadmaps, develop reusable foundational frameworks, and lead advances in generative AI, automation, and agentic systems across the organization.

Note- We are looking for something has broader architecture experience across AI/ML, cloud computing in Azure/GCP, enterprise production level solutioning experience, and excellent communication/soft skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the organization’s AI/ML technical strategy aligned with broader business transformation goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to convert operational and financial objectives into tangible AI/ML projects.
• Promote an enterprise-wide “AI-first” architectural philosophy, embedding GenAI, ML, and automation by design.
• Develop high-level architecture designs and multi-year technological roadmaps focused on automation and AI/ML.
• Architect reusable AI/ML platforms and frameworks supporting diverse use cases such as fraud detection, forecasting, and analytics.
• Design complex semantic layers leveraging techniques like RAG, Knowledge Graphs, and GraphRAG for natural language querying.
• Define reference architectures for agent-based AI workflows, including orchestration, tool integrations, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Establish standards and best practices for AI/ML solution delivery, security, and governance.
• Deliver detailed architecture designs, including data flows, integration patterns, and security controls.
• Mentor engineering teams on technical design, code reviews, and implementation.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise governance, data privacy, and compliance standards.
• Champion adoption of model lifecycle management practices with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Represent AI/ML architecture in design review forums and promote consistent standards across teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.
• Proven hands-on experience across major cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, container-based platform architecture, and event-driven systems.
• Demonstrated experience designing and deploying GenAI and machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Background working with large-scale financial data processing and analytics, preferably within finance or related industries.
• Track record of developing AI/ML foundational frameworks utilized across multiple teams and use cases.
• Technical proficiency with LLM architecture, prompt engineering, semantic search, Knowledge Graphs, and vector databases.
• Experience designing complex multi-agent workflows and orchestration patterns.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both technical and business leadership.
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and detailed technical levels.
• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience within a regulated financial services or banking environment.
• Familiarity with model governance, risk management, and MLOps/LLMOps frameworks.
• Relevant industry certifications in cloud architecture or enterprise architecture.
