Job summary

Orbis is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and deploy multi-agent decision workflows that power mission support operations. You will own client onboarding experiences, triage, escalation, and resolution for Orbis products in the field.

Occasional travel is expected, with a focus on reliability and measurable performance. You will collaborate with product and engineering across Catalyst, Pulse, and Discovery to ensure data access and actionable outputs, while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5+ years translating user requirements into wireframes and workflows.
• 1+ year using Claude or similar to build AI agents.
• Experience building multi-agent workflows and explaining design rationales.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy multi-agent AI workflows in production.
• Explain system behavior to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
• Collaborate with process owners to tailor capabilities to operations.
• Monitor production, diagnose failures, and manage escalation.
• Own cost of execution and optimize prompts, caching, and steps.
• Document learnings with runbooks and SOPs.
• Integrate workflows across Orbis products for data access.
• Deliver reporting on metrics like resolution and response times.
