Job summary

Verdesian Life Sciences is seeking a remote Account Manager, Sales to grow our retail footprint in Southern Illinois. You will call on new retailers, train on products, and drive adoption through expert guidance.

Develop territory plans, forecast sales, and collaborate with Marketing and R&D to align product development with retailer needs. Strong communication and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-time exempt sales experience in Agriculture.
• BA or BS degree in Agriculture-related field.
• Experience selling inoculants, fertilizer enhancers, or micronutrients is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth in assigned region by acquiring new retailers and meeting revenue targets.
• Own the full sales cycle from outreach to retailer onboarding and product sales.
• Develop deep product knowledge and build consultative retailer relationships.
• Create annual territory and business plans forecasting sales and budgets.
• Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to align product development with customer needs.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage budgets responsibly.
• Navigate EPA and state regulations relevant to the role.
• Support retailers and cross-functional teams to drive territory growth.
