Job summary

Galvanize, Inc. seeks Enterprise Instructors to guide and teach Agile and modern web development. Lead lectures, pair programming, and ongoing feedback while coaching enterprise product teams. This is a home-based role with occasional travel to client sites across the US.

You’ll teach XP and agile practices, use JavaScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, and SQL, and help students achieve learning results throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of production experience in JavaScript, Java, C#/.NET, or Python, or equivalent teaching experience.
• Fluency in Agile methodologies; XP familiarity is a plus.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL across PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Experience with MongoDB and web APIs (REST/JSON).
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead lectures and class activities; support students during projects.
• Plan daily lessons and assess students continuously.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coach agile teams.
• Collaborate with co-instructors to deliver enterprise engagements.
• Communicate progress to clients and identify impediments.
• Contribute to enterprise product portfolio and curriculum.
