Job summary

Connecticut Health Insurance is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (TMO) to analyze, design, and optimize our NFT product systems and processes. You will gather requirements, translate business needs into solutions, and work with IT to implement, while supporting rollout activities.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in Agile environments, and effective collaboration with stakeholders across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in Agile environments; Scrum Master a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC and robust stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Apply critical thinking to identify root causes and solutions.
• Assess and improve current business processes for efficiency.
• Develop and recommend solutions to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with business teams to analyze workflows and improvements.
• Document business and technical requirements, processes, and specs.
• Work with IT to design, test, and implement technology solutions.
• Support during system rollouts, including training and data migration.
• Use Excel, SQL, and modeling tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Conduct gap analyses to align business needs with tech solutions.
• Monitor system performance post-implementation and adjust as needed.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage backlog prioritization.
• Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Track Agile metrics like velocity and burn-down rates.
• Serve as liaison between business units and technical teams.
• Deliver end-user training on new system functionalities.
• Create visualizations/reports and communicate status to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
• Assist in change management and UAT activities.
• Manage pre-assigned New Field Technology products.
