Job summary

Mainstay is hiring an Agent Operations Lead to own the operating results for large institutional SFR portfolios. You will manage dispositions and acquisitions end‑to‑end, coordinating with the business relationship lead and analysts to ensure every home is run to its playbook.

You will drive cadence, analysis, and issue resolution across the pricing, field, and transaction coordination teams, while embracing AI tools to enhance reconciliation and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in real estate operations, portfolio or asset management for institutional/high-volume customers.
• Ownership of portfolio outcomes, including reporting cadence and difficult conversations.
• Experience with full transaction lifecycle: pricing, listing, offers, negotiation, contract to close.
• Experience launching a new customer, market, or program.
• Real estate license is a plus, not required.
• Demonstrated AI workflows built around LLMs and used on real portfolios.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with evenings/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating results for large institutional SFR portfolios end‑to‑end.
• Coordinate with the business relationship lead, analysts, pricing, field, and transaction teams.
• Run cadence, provide analysis, flag issues, and communicate outcomes to directors.
• Support growth of new customers, markets, and programs like REO.
• Operate with AI tools to reconcile data, generate updates, and monitor portfolios.
• Provide timely escalation and keep the book healthy and compliant.
