Job summary

American Income Life is seeking an Agent Licensing Specialist to manage the lifecycle of agents appointed with the company, coordinating with the Department of Insurance, agents, and vendors. The role involves data collection, verification, and reporting across systems to ensure accurate licensing and recordkeeping.

This remote position requires meticulous data handling, compliance with state regulations, and proactive communication with internal teams and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of office experience (implied)
• Experience with insurance licensing or regulatory processes
• Experience with database management and data accuracy
• Accounting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Issue agent numbers, activations, terminations, and non-codes.
• Review and update Agent Automation for rehires and approvals.
• Process state appointments, terminations, and expired licenses.
• Verify and update biographical, demographical, and banking information.
• Process promotions, demotions, transfers, and splits.
• Maintain error reporting and perform reject corrections.
• Ensure hierarchies support accurate commission payments.
• Handle sensitive agent information securely.
• Interact with state insurance boards, agents, and management.
• Communicate with external vendors and the Department of Insurance.
