Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Phoenix to analyze part drawings, BOMs, and specs, and identify export requirements. You will review drawings for accuracy and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure data is ready for presentation to chief engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years experience.
• Ability to Read & Understand part drawings.
• Knowledge of Engineering Mechanics & Strength of Materials.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination capabilities.
• Familiarity or interest with aerospace industry desired.
• EWI/Rich Client experience a plus.
• Teamcenter and SAP experience valued.
• Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze part drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Identify export requirements.
• Review engineering drawings for content, notes, accuracy, legibility.
• Evaluate level of part difficulty and identify roadblocks.
• Investigate and implement source control parts for compliant alternatives.
• Follow drawings update and approvals in PLM tool.
• Manage and report on project schedules, budget, and priority.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to capture data for presentations to chief engineering staff.
• Seek advice from subject matter experts when required.
• Report project status in meetings.
